Colleen Hoover Dark & Twisted Bundle: Verity / Too Late & Layla

Colleen Hoover is known for emotional romance. These three are not that. This bundle collects the books where she moved into thriller and horror territory, and they are the ones her readers warn each other about before recommending.

What’s in the set

• Verity: a struggling writer is hired to finish a bestselling author’s series, finds an unpublished manuscript in the house, and reads it. Hoover’s most notorious book, and the one people finish at 3am then immediately reread the last chapter of.
• Too Late: a young woman trapped in a relationship with a drug trafficker, and the undercover agent who complicates everything. Her bleakest and most explicit novel.
• Layla: a musician, a girlfriend recovering from an attack, and a bed and breakfast where something else is present. A genuine supernatural turn.

Who it’s for

Thriller readers curious about Hoover, existing fans who have finished the romances, and anyone who wants the darker half of her catalogue in one order.

Content note

Adult readers. Graphic violence, explicit content and disturbing themes across all three, particularly Too Late. These are not gateway Hoover books.
